  - For example, in 2007, we designed and delivered a ground-breaking purchase order, approval, and tracking system for the San Francisco Department of Public Works. This system allowed SFDPW employees to create purchase requests, have them appropriately approved, allowed vendors to upload order estimates or receipts, and allowed budgets and personnel to be managed more efficiently. The initial system was extended to interface with central accounting systems and continues to be relied upon by hundreds of people on a daily basis. The first complete system was delivered 6 months before the client's initial target date. Our solution was recognized by the mayor (Gavin Newsom) and others as an example of how government can effectively deliver technological efficiencies for both government employees and processes and private sector businesses.
- Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS) Compliance
  - In 2009, we helped a very small startup change its entire technology platform, rewrite all its code, change it's development and data-handling practices, and meet the highest payment card industry data security standards for several new client-partners that included the credit card companies VISA and American Express. Because the partners were credit card companies, the company was held to the strictest data security standards for its e-commerce services. Achieving PCI-DSS compliance is a very extensive process that can be difficult for small companies. The American Express security team said that ours was the best and most complete security compliance documentation response they'd ever seen and, after extensive review and an onsight security audit, all partnerships moved forwards successfully. Our team can provide compliance review and consulting services for small to mid-sized companies seeking to achieve PCI-DSS (or American Express) data security standards.
